About me
I was born enslaved and escaped to freedom, then risked my life again and again to lead other enslaved people north on the Underground Railroad. I also served as a Union spy during the Civil War.
Fun fact!
I made about 13 trips back to the South to rescue around 70 enslaved people — and I never lost a single passenger!
